Our Story
Born in Chicago, now Nationwide

How It Started
Cafetón was born from a simple observation: the best conversations happen over great coffee and music. Our founders, coffee enthusiasts and Latin music lovers, set out to create an experience that authentically honored both cultures. The first event, held in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood in 2025, drew 400 people and a movement was born.

Cafetón is a movement built on three pillars: specialty coffee excellence, authentic Latin cultural celebration, and genuine community building. Every event features carefully curated coffee experiences, handpicked DJs, dedicated creator spaces, and intentional networking moments. We're not just throwing parties — we're building lasting cultural infrastructure.

Community First
At every Cafetón event, a portion of vendor fees supports local community organizations in each city. We prioritize local coffee roasters, local DJs, and local creators. Our goal is to amplify the communities we enter, not extract from them. Cafetón's growth is only meaningful if the communities we serve grow with us.
